Goethestraße is Frankfurt’s version of ‘Fifth Avenue’.
It is Frankfurt’s most luxurious street, home to upmarket shops and art dealers, frequented by European, International, and yes, Russia’s wealthiest. There is Haute Couture, innovative and classic jewellery, luxury products and fashion, available from Armani, Cartier, Gucci, Versace and Tiffany’s.
Expect to see exclusive European products, and listen to the different languages spoken by the affluent shoppers.
While it Goethe Strasse has luxury shops, it still offer value and quality for women and menswear.
Goethestraße is west of the Zeil, under 400 metres long, and is the street between Alte Opera and Rathenauplatz.
It is also just a few steps away from Fressgass, and there is Nespresso Boutique for all the George Clooney fans.
For Jazz fans, check out the Jazz Keller (the Jazz Cellar) tucked away to the side but in the middle of Goethe Street.
