The Main Tower is a famous attraction of Frankfurt, and also a fascinating symbol
Over 300,000 visitors come every year for the panoramic view from the 54th story terrace. Main Tower is regarded by some as a highlight of any visit to Frankfurt.
From the viewing terrace you can see historical and modern sights, including cathedrals, churches, the Old Opera House, the Festival Hall, and the riverside museums.
From the mountains in Taunus to the north, to the curling bends of the River Main, and the jumbo jets arriving and climbing at the airport to the south, there is so much to see.
On the 53rd storey is Europe's highest television studio. The HR television station broadcasts from this studio regularly, with many programs broadcast before a live audience.
Also on the 53rd floor is the Main Tower Restaurant and Lounge – an impressive place to enjoy a lunch or dinner in Frankfurt, or maybe just to enjoy a drink or two.
